10-1/2 - 11 Months

10/25

Sleep continues to elude us. Night time crying spells continue. Long ones.

We think Nia is getting her top front teeth soon. She pulls on her hair and ears and has been cranky.

In the last week, Nia started pointing. First it was her milk cup, later daddy. It doesn't seem too deliberate or direct yet, but I think she kind of gets what it means.

Walking skills are developing quickly. There's no crawling option for her, it's just not acceptable. She loves carrying things around, too. I can't wait for her to be steady on her feet, but I'll miss this little drunken robot stage with the cute jerky movements, it's so adorable!

Nia is eating more solid table foods now. She teases like a dog for anything she sees. Bagels, pasta, banana, strawberry, pear, muffins, and cheese are all things she can share.

The past week, sleep has still been fragmented. Last night was pretty good, but still up at 5:45am!
Both kids have been through a day or so of diarrhea last week, too. Nia's, however, might be due to teething... can't wait until those top chompers pop through finally!

Nia is almost ready to wave. One morning she did to herself in the mirror.
